I teach IB Physics to SL and HL students, mostly online, with lessons built around the exact topic they are stuck on that week. My own favourite areas are fields and circular motion, but I also spend a lot of time on data analysis for the IA. I’m quite calm in lessons and like students to talk through their method rather than just copy a solution. I have worked with Czechia-based international school students as well as pupils abroad.

Hi, I’m a Physics tutor who works with IB students who know the ideas but freeze when the question changes slightly. I usually start with a short recap, then we do past-paper problems together until the pattern is clear. I’m especially useful for mechanics, waves and electricity, and I’m happy looking over IA graphs or uncertainty calculations. Students normally send me questions before lessons so we can use the hour properly.

I’ve worked with IB Physics students from Year 12 through the final exam period, including a lot of last-minute revision before mocks. Lessons are practical and direct: we fix weak topics, build a formula sheet that actually makes sense, and practise longer questions under timed conditions. I enjoy teaching quantum and nuclear physics most, partly because small wording changes make a big difference in those topics.

I tutor IB Physics online and tend to work well with students who are aiming for a 6 or 7 but keep losing marks on explanations. We spend time on the wording of answers, not just the maths. I also help with IAs, particularly choosing a research question that can produce clean data rather than an experiment that looks impressive but is hard to analyse. I’m fairly direct in feedback, but always explain what to fix next.
